Instructions

Step 1 – Beat Eggs:

  • Beat the 5 eggs for about 3–4 minutes until light and fluffy. Add sugar and continue beating for an additional 5 minutes until smooth.

Step 2 – Add Oil:

  • Add the oil to the egg-sugar mixture and mix gently.

Step 3 – Sift Dry Ingredients:

  • Sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl.

Step 4 – Combine Wet & Dry Ingredients:

  • Add 1/3 of the flour mixture to the wet ingredients and mix on low speed. Then, add 1/3 of the milk and mix again. Repeat with the remaining 2/3 of flour and milk, alternating between flour and milk, until all are incorporated.

Step 5 – Add Vanilla Essence:

  • Finally, add the vanilla essence and mix until fully combined.

Step 6 – Rest the Batter:

  • Let the batter rest for 20–30 minutes to ensure the batter sets properly.

Step 7 – Bake:

  • Pour the batter into two small greased baking pans. Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.

Step 8 – Cool & Serve:
