WW Ingredient Swaps
To keep the points down while keeping all the flavor:
- Ground beef → 99% lean ground turkey or chicken
- French bread dough → Reduced-fat pizza dough OR 2-ingredient dough
- American cheese → 4 slices reduced-fat cheese
- Bacon → turkey bacon (crumbled)
- Sauces → keep small amounts (they’re surprisingly pointy!)
- Dipping sauce → light Thousand Island or yogurt-based version

Ingredients
- 1 lb 99% lean ground turkey or chicken
- ½ cup diced onion
- ¼ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper

1 lb light pizza dough or 2-ingredient dough
(2 cups self-rising flour + 2 cups nonfat Greek yogurt) - 3 tbsp ketchup (reduced sugar if desired)
- 2 tbsp yellow mustard
- 4 slices reduced-fat American cheese
- 4 slices turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 2 chopped dill pickle spears
- 1 beaten egg (for brushing — optional)
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds (optional)
- Light Thousand Island for dipping
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment.
- Cook filling:Â Brown the turkey and onion, seasoning with salt and pepper. Drain if needed.
- Roll dough into a 12×18-inch rectangle.
- Spread sauces thinly: ketchup + mustard.
- Layer: cooked turkey mixture → turkey bacon → pickles → cheese.
- Roll tightly from the long side and place seam-side down on the tray.
- Brush with egg (optional) and sprinkle sesame seeds.
- Bake 20–25 minutes, until golden brown.
- Cool 5 minutes, then slice and serve with light Thousand Island.
