This warm, cozy bedtime drink is naturally caffeine-free and incredibly comforting. Made with just a few pantry staples, it’s the perfect way to unwind before bed.
Ingredients
- 1 cup milk of choice (dairy, almond, oat, or coconut)
- ½ teaspoon ground turmeric
- ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
Optional (for extra flavor)
- 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup (omit for sugar-free)
- Pinch of black pepper (helps your body absorb turmeric)
- ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Pour the milk into a small saucepan.
- Whisk in the turmeric and cinnamon (plus black pepper, if using).
- Heat over medium-low until warm, but do not let it boil.
- Remove from the heat and stir in the honey and vanilla, if desired.
- Pour into your favorite mug and enjoy about 30–60 minutes before bedtime.
Tips
- Froth the warm milk with a handheld frother for a café-style finish.
- Add a pinch of ground ginger or nutmeg for extra warmth and flavor.
- For a creamier drink, use oat milk or whole milk.
