Ingredients
- 2 cups cold water
- Juice of 1 large lemon
- ½ cup fresh mint leaves
- ½-inch piece fresh ginger, peeled
- ¼ tsp ground turmeric
- Pinch of black pepper
- 1–2 tsp honey or maple syrup, optional
- ½ cup ice cubes
- Lemon slices and mint for serving
Instructions
- Add the water, fresh lemon juice, mint leaves, ginger, turmeric, and black pepper to a blender.
- Blend for 30–45 seconds until the mint and ginger are finely processed.
- Strain through a fine-mesh strainer if you prefer a smoother drink, or leave it unstrained for more texture.
- Taste and add honey or maple syrup if you want a little sweetness.
- Pour over ice and garnish with fresh mint and a lemon slice.
- Serve immediately.
