Total Time: 35 minutes

🛒 Ingredients

  • 3 ripe pears (Bosc or Bartlett), halved and cored
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons honey (plus more for drizzling)
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon (optional, for warmth)
  • ½ cup mixed fresh berries (blueberries, raspberries, or blackberries)
  • ¼ cup chopped walnuts (lightly toasted for extra flavor)
  • ¼ cup crumbled blue cheese (or goat cheese for a milder flavor)
  • Fresh mint leaves, for garnish (optional)

🍯 Instructions

  1. Preheat oven:
Set your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking dish with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. Prepare the pears:
Cut pears in half lengthwise and scoop out the cores with a spoon or melon baller to create a small cavity.
Arrange the pear halves cut side up in the baking dish.
  3. Brush and bake:
Brush each pear half with melted butter and drizzle with honey.
Sprinkle lightly with cinnamon if desired.
Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the pears are tender but still hold their shape.
  4. Add toppings:
Remove the pears from the oven. Spoon a few berries into the cavity of each pear, and sprinkle with chopped walnuts.
Crumble blue cheese evenly over the top.
  5. Final bake (optional):
Return to the oven for another 3–5 minutes, just until the cheese softens slightly and everything is warm and fragrant.
  6. Serve:
Drizzle a little more honey on top before serving.
Garnish with fresh mint for a pop of color and freshness.
