Ingredients
- 1 lb (450g) lean ground beef
- 3 bell peppers (red, green, and yellow), sliced
- 1 small onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the onion and bell peppers. Cook for 4–5 minutes until slightly tender.
- Stir in the garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
- Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it into crumbles. Drain excess grease if needed.
- Season with Italian seasoning, smoked paprika, onion powder, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir well and cook for another 2 minutes.
- Divide the mixture between two small baking dishes or place everything into one 9-inch baking dish.
- Sprinkle mozzarella and cheddar evenly over the top.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Broil for 2–3 minutes for a golden, slightly browned cheese topping.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
