Thick, creamy, ultra-satisfying — this high-protein mousse tastes like dessert but fuels you like a meal. Velvety chocolate blended with smooth peanut butter and topped with a sprinkle of chocolate chips… it’s the kind of recipe you make once and instantly regret (because now everyone will beg you to make it again).

Servings & Timing

Serves: 1–2
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Chill Time (Optional): 20–30 minutes
Total Time: 5–10 minutes

Ingredients

Base

  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt (or cottage cheese blended smooth)
  • 1 scoop chocolate protein powder
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder (for richer chocolate flavor)
  • 1–2 tbsp sweetener of choice (monk fruit, stevia, honey, or maple)

Swirl

  • 1–2 tbsp natural peanut butter (warmed slightly)

Optional Mix-Ins

  • A handful of mini chocolate chips
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • Dash of vanilla extract
  • 1–2 tbsp milk (only if you want it looser)

Instructions

1. Blend the Base

In a mixing bowl, combine:

  • Greek yogurt
  • chocolate protein powder
  • cocoa powder
  • sweetener

Whip with a spoon, hand mixer, or a small whisk until it becomes thick, creamy, and mousse-like.
(Protein powder thickens within seconds.)

2. Add the Peanut Butter Swirl

Warm your peanut butter for 10 seconds, then drizzle it over the mousse.
Use a spoon to gently swirl it in — don’t overmix if you want those pretty ribbons.

3. Add Toppings

Sprinkle mini chocolate chips or any add-ins you like.
A tiny pinch of sea salt makes the chocolate flavor deeper.

4. Serve or Chill

You can enjoy it immediately (thickest texture),
or chill for 20–30 minutes for a cold, firm, dessert-like mousse.
