It’s a simple, hearty dish that can be served with your favorite pasta (like fettuccine, as shown) for a complete meal. Plus, it’s quick and easy to make, and it’s packed with protein to keep you feeling satisfied!
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef (you can also use turkey or chicken for a leaner option)
8 oz fettuccine pasta (or any pasta of your choice)
1 cup heavy cream (or substitute with half-and-half or milk for a lighter version)
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or a blend of your favorite cheeses)
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
Cook the Pasta: Cook the fettuccine according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Cook the Ground Beef: In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned and cooked through, breaking it apart with a spoon. Drain any excess fat if necessary.
Make the Sauce: To the cooked ground beef, add the heavy cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir well and bring to a simmer. Let the sauce simmer for about 5 minutes, or until it thickens slightly.
Add Cheese: Add the shredded cheese to the skillet and stir until it melts and the sauce becomes creamy.
Combine with Pasta: Add the cooked pasta to the skillet with the creamy beef mixture. Toss everything together until the pasta is well coated in the sauce.
Garnish and Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot. Optionally, add extra grated cheese on top.
