⭐ Crispy Cheese & Herb Fritters

A quick 10-minute snack made with simple ingredients.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups grated cheese
    (mozzarella + cheddar mix works best; you can also use cottage cheese cubes)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley or coriander, chopped
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp paprika or red chili flakes
  • ½ tsp garlic powder (optional)
  • ½ cup flour
    (or ¼ cup flour + ¼ cup breadcrumbs for extra crispiness)
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for shallow frying

Instructions

1. Prepare the mixture

In a mixing bowl combine:

  • Cheese
  • Eggs
  • Onion
  • Parsley
  • All spices

Mix well.

2. Add dry ingredients

Add:

  • Flour
  • Baking powder
    Mix until it forms a thick batter that holds together.
    (If too wet → add a little more flour.)

3. Shape

Scoop small spoonfuls and gently flatten into fritter shapes.


4. Fry

Heat 2–3 tbsp oil in a pan.
Place the fritters and fry on medium heat until:

  • Golden brown
  • Crispy on both sides (about 2–3 min per side)

5. Serve

Place on a paper towel and enjoy with:

  • Garlic mayo
  • Sweet chili sauce
  • Ketchup
  • Mint yogurt dip
