You Will Need

  • 8 cups mini pretzels
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup light brown sugar, packed
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ยฝ teaspoon salt
  • Optional: ยฝ cup chopped nuts or chocolate drizzle

Instructions

1. Prep the Tray

Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. Spread mini pretzels evenly across the pan.


2. Make the Toffee

In a saucepan over medium heat:

  • Melt 1 cup butter.
  • Add 1 cup brown sugar.
  • Stir continuously until the mixture begins to bubble.
  • Let it gently boil for 3 minutes without stirring.
    The mixture should thicken slightly and look glossy.

3. Add Flavor

Remove from heat and immediately stir in:

  • Vanilla extract
  • Salt

4. Coat the Pretzels

Pour the hot toffee mixture evenly over the pretzels.
Use a spatula to gently toss and coat as much as possible.


5. Bake

Bake at 350ยฐF (175ยฐC) for 7โ€“8 minutes.
The toffee will bubble โ€” thatโ€™s perfect.


6. Cool & Break Apart

Let pretzels cool completely.
Once hardened, break them into clusters.


7. Serve or Store

Store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
