- 1 (10 oz) can Rotel (diced tomatoes & green chilies), drained
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
- 1 cup shredded cheese for topping (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat Oven to 350°F (175°C). Line or grease a baking sheet.
- Mix sausage, cream cheese, and drained Rotel in a large bowl.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and cayenne.
- Add dry mix to sausage mixture. Stir until fully combined, then fold in the shredded cheese.
- Shape into 1-inch balls and arrange on the baking sheet.
- Bake 20–25 minutes or until golden brown. Add topping cheese during the last 5 minutes, if using.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
