Ingredients (Serves 4)
- 400g fresh mushrooms (button or baby bella work best) โ Speed
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- ยฝ tsp black pepper
- ยฝ tsp salt
- 40g wholemeal breadcrumbs (use as your Healthy Extra B)
- 2 tbsp cornmeal or polenta (โ3 Syns for whole recipe, optional for crunch)
- 1 large egg, beaten
- Low-calorie cooking spray
(Optional: add dried parsley, chili flakes, or mixed herbs for extra flavor)

Prep Mushrooms:
Clean mushrooms and pat dry. If large, slice in half. -
Coating Mix:
In a bowl, combine breadcrumbs, cornmeal (if using), garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. -
Dip & Coat:
Dip mushrooms into beaten egg, then roll in breadcrumb mix until coated. -
Bake or Air Fry (instead of frying):
- Oven: Place mushrooms on a lined tray, spray well with Frylight. Bake at 200ยฐC (400ยฐF) for 20โ25 minutes, turning halfway.
- Air fryer (best crunch): 200ยฐC for 12โ15 minutes, shaking halfway, until golden and crispy.
