1-Point Cinnamon Twists (2-Ingredient Dough)

Quick, no-rise dessert or breakfast!

Ingredients

For the dough (2 ingredients):

  • 1 cup self-rising flour
  • 1 cup nonfat plain Greek yogurt

For the cinnamon coating:

  • 2 tablespoons Splenda (or any zero-calorie sweetener)
  • 1โ€“1ยฝ teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • Optional: a tiny bit of cooking spray or egg wash to help the coating stick
  • Optional glaze:
    • 2 tablespoons powdered sweetener + 1โ€“2 tsp water or milk

Instructions

  1. Mix the dough:
    In a bowl, combine self-rising flour and Greek yogurt.
    Stir until it comes together, then knead lightly until smooth (about 1 minute).
    If sticky, add a pinch of flour.
  2. Roll it out:
    On a lightly floured surface, roll the dough into a rectangle about ยผ inch thick.
  3. Add the cinnamon mixture:
    In a small bowl, mix Splenda and cinnamon.
    Lightly spray the dough with cooking spray or brush with a bit of egg wash.
    Sprinkle the cinnamon mixture evenly across the dough.
  4. Cut & twist:
    Slice the dough into strips about 1 inch wide.
    Twist each strip several times and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  5. Bake:
    Bake at 375ยฐF (190ยฐC) for 12โ€“15 minutes, or until puffed and golden.
  6. Optional glaze:
    Drizzle the powdered sweetener glaze over the warm twists.

Notes

  • Each twist comes out to 1 point, depending on size and sweetener used.
  • For extra flavor: add a dash of vanilla to the dough or glaze.
  • These are best fresh but can be reheated in the air fryer for 2โ€“3 minutes.
