Cajun Shrimp and Steak Alfredo

Ingredients:

For the Proteins:

1 lb. ribeye or sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces 🥩

1/2 lb. large shrimp, peeled and deveined 🍤

1 1/2 tbsp Cajun seasoning 🌶️ (divided)

For the Alfredo Sauce:

2 tbsp butter 🧈

3-4 cloves garlic, minced 🧄

1 cup heavy cream 🥛

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese 🧀

Salt and pepper to taste 🧂

For the Pasta:

12 oz. fettuccine or linguine pasta 🍝

Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish 🌿

Instructions:

Cook the Pasta:

Cook fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside. 🍝

Season the Proteins:

In a medium bowl, toss the steak pieces with 1/2 tbsp Cajun seasoning.

In another bowl, season the shrimp with 1/2 tbsp Cajun seasoning. 🌶️

Cook the Steak:

In a large skillet, heat 1 tbsp oil over medium-high heat. Add steak and sear for 2-3 minutes on each side until browned and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove and set aside. 🥩🔥

Cook the Shrimp:

In the same skillet, add a bit more oil if needed, and cook the shrimp for 2-3 minutes until pink and opaque. Set aside with the steak. 🍤

Make the Alfredo Sauce:

In the skillet, melt 2 tbsp butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute. 🧄

Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese and remaining Cajun seasoning, stirring until smooth and thickened, 2-3 minutes. Add salt and pepper to taste. 🧈🧀

Combine Everything:

Add the pasta to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce. Add steak and shrimp, tossing gently until everything is well combined and heated through. 🍝🥩🍤

Serve:

Garnish with fresh parsley and a sprinkle of extra Parmesan if desired. 🌿
