Ingredients
For the Chicken
- 1 lb (450g) chicken tenders
- 1 cup buttermilk
For the Coating
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste

Instructions
1. Marinate the Chicken
Place the chicken tenders in a bowl.
Pour the buttermilk over the chicken and toss to coat.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
2. Prepare the Coating
In one shallow bowl, add the flour and season with salt and black pepper.
Place the breadcrumbs in a second bowl.
3. Coat the Chicken
Remove the chicken from the buttermilk.
Dredge each tender in the flour mixture, then coat with breadcrumbs until fully covered.
4. Fry Until Golden
Heat oil in a deep skillet or fryer to 175ยฐC (350ยฐF).
