High-Protein Hydration Drink (Low-Calorie & Refreshing)

This easy, protein-packed drink is perfect after a workout or anytime you want a refreshing, filling beverage with very few calories.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup (240 ml) cold water
  • ½ cup (120 ml) unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 scoop (25–30 g) vanilla or unflavored whey protein isolate
  • Juice of ½ lemon
  • ½ teaspoon lemon zest (optional)
  • Ice cubes
  • Natural zero-calorie sweetener (stevia or monk fruit), to taste (optional)
  • Fresh mint leaves, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Add the water, almond milk, protein powder, lemon juice, and sweetener (if using) to a blender or shaker bottle.
  2. Blend or shake until completely smooth.
  3. Pour over a glass filled with ice.
  4. Garnish with lemon zest and fresh mint, if desired.
  5. Serve immediately.
