🍎 Melt-in-Your-Mouth Apple Cake

For the Cake

  • 2 apples (1 cut into small cubes, 1 into thin slices)
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup sugar (or low-calorie sweetener for lighter version)
  • ½ cup milk
  • ⅓ cup oil or melted butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 ½ tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
    Grease an 8-inch pan and line with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk eggs + sugar until light and slightly fluffy.
  3. Add milk, oil, and vanilla. Mix well.
  4. In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  5. Fold dry ingredients into wet mixture gently.
  6. Stir in the apple cubes.
  7. Pour batter into pan and arrange thin apple slices on top.
  8. Bake 35–40 minutes until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Let cool slightly before slicing.
