- 2 cups milk (dairy, almond, oat, or coconut milk)
- 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
- Pinch of black pepper
- 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
- 1 teaspoon coconut oil or butter (optional for creaminess)
Instructions
- Pour the milk into a small saucepan.
- Add turmeric, ginger, cinnamon, and black pepper.
- Heat over medium-low heat for 5–7 minutes, stirring often. Do not boil.
- Stir in honey and coconut oil if using.
- Strain into mugs if you prefer a smooth drink.
- Serve warm.
Tips
- Fresh turmeric can be used instead of powder.
- Add lemon for a brighter flavor.
