Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 125 g liquid egg whites
  • 34 g angel food cake–flavored protein powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven
Preheat your oven to 392°F (200°C).
Use an 8-inch round silicone pan if you have one. If not, line a regular pan with parchment paper.
  2. Whip the egg whites
Pour the liquid egg whites into a clean mixing bowl. Beat until stiff peaks form—this is what gives the cake its cloud-like texture.
  3. Fold in protein powder
Gently fold in the protein powder using a spatula. Take your time and don’t overmix—you want to keep as much air in the batter as possible.
  4. Bake
Transfer the batter to the prepared pan and smooth the top lightly.
Bake for 10 minutes, until set and lightly golden on top.
  5. Cool & serve
Let it cool slightly before slicing. Enjoy warm or chilled.

Additional Notes

  • Texture Tip: Overmixing will deflate the batter—gentle folding is key.
  • Protein Powder Matters: Angel food cake–style protein works best for flavor and structure.
  • Calories & Points: The entire cake is about 185 calories, 38g protein, and 2 WW points total.

Storage

  • Best eaten fresh, but you can store leftovers in the fridge for up to 2 days.
  • Tastes great chilled straight from the fridge.

Variations

  • Vanilla Cloud Cake: Add a few drops of vanilla extract.
  • Berry Version: Serve with fresh strawberries or blueberries on top.
  • Sweet Finish: Dust lightly with powdered sweetener before serving.
