Ingredients
Vanilla Cream Layer
- 2 cups milk
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 3 egg yolks
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Chocolate Topping
- 1 cup milk
- ½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp sugar
Instructions
Make the Vanilla Layer
- In a saucepan, whisk together milk, condensed milk, cornstarch, and egg yolks.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until thick and creamy.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.
- Pour into a glass serving dish and smooth the top.
- Refrigerate while preparing the chocolate layer.
Make the Chocolate Topping
- In another saucepan, whisk together milk, cocoa powder, cornstarch, and sugar.
- Heat over medium heat until slightly thickened.
- Add chocolate chips and stir until smooth and glossy.
- Let cool for 3–5 minutes.
Assemble
- Pour the chocolate mixture gently over the chilled vanilla layer.
- Smooth evenly with a spatula.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until fully set.

- Serve chilled for the best texture.
