Ingredients
12 wonton wrappers (≈1 Syn each → 12 Syns total)
500g extra-lean minced beef or turkey – Free
1 onion, chopped – Free
2 cloves garlic, minced – Free
400g tin chopped tomatoes – Free
2 tbsp tomato purée – Free
1 tsp dried oregano – Free
1 tsp dried basil – Free
Salt & pepper, to taste – Free
200g fat-free cottage cheese – Free
40g reduced-fat mozzarella cheese – 2 Syns
40g grated Parmesan (optional) – 2 Syns for 20g
Instructions
Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Lightly spray a muffin tin with low-calorie cooking spray.
Cook the filling
In a frying pan, brown the minced meat over medium heat.
Add onion and garlic; cook until softened.
Stir in chopped tomatoes, tomato purée, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper. Simmer 10–15 minutes until thickened.
Assemble cups
Press a wonton wrapper into each muffin tin hole to form a shell.
Spoon a little meat mixture inside.
Add a small spoonful of cottage cheese.
Add another layer of meat mixture.
Sprinkle mozzarella (and Parmesan if using) on top.
Bake
Bake 15–20 minutes until the wonton edges are golden and cheese is melted.
Serve & enjoy warm with a fresh salad or roasted vegetables.
