Ingredients
- 12 oz pasta (fettuccine, spaghetti, or penne)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Fresh parsley, chopped
- Extra Parmesan for serving

Cook the pasta
Boil pasta in salted water until al dente. Reserve ½ cup pasta water before draining. -
Make the sauce
In a large skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. -
Add cream and seasoning
Pour in heavy cream. Stir in salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Simmer for 2–3 minutes. -
Add Parmesan
Slowly whisk in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. -
Combine
Add cooked pasta to the sauce and toss well. Use reserved pasta water if needed to loosen the sauce. -
Serve
Top with parsley and extra Parmesan.
