Creamy Italian Garlic Parmesan Pasta

A simple, restaurant-style pasta dish loaded with garlic, Parmesan, and silky creamy sauce — ready in about 20 minutes!

Ingredients

  • 12 oz pasta (fettuccine, spaghetti, or penne)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Fresh parsley, chopped
  • Extra Parmesan for serving

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta
    Boil pasta in salted water until al dente. Reserve ½ cup pasta water before draining.
  2. Make the sauce
    In a large skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add cream and seasoning
    Pour in heavy cream. Stir in salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Simmer for 2–3 minutes.
  4. Add Parmesan
    Slowly whisk in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  5. Combine
    Add cooked pasta to the sauce and toss well. Use reserved pasta water if needed to loosen the sauce.
  6. Serve
    Top with parsley and extra Parmesan.
