INGREDIENTS
- 1/4 cup butter, cubed
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 5 cups uncooked egg noodles (from a 12 oz package)
- 1 (10 oz) package frozen peas
- 2 1/2 cups vegetable broth
- 1 cup half-and-half cream
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dried onion
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
PREPARATION
- Add butter and oil to large skillet. Heat over medium and add noodles. Cook for 2-3 minutes or until lightly browned.
- Add peas, broth, cream, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Cover and simmer for 12 minutes or until noodles are cooked through.
- Remove from heat and top with cheese. Cover and allow to sit for 3 minutes for cheese to melt.
