Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Step-by-Step Instructions


Step 1: Preheat Oven

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Grease a square or round baking pan.


Step 2: Blend Wet Ingredients

In a blender, add:

  • Eggs
  • Sugar
  • Oil
  • Milk
  • Vanilla

Blend for about 1–2 minutes until smooth and slightly frothy.


Step 3: Add Dry Ingredients

Add flour, baking powder, and salt.

Pulse gently just until combined.
Do not overblend.


Step 4: Pour & Bake

Pour batter into prepared pan.

Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.

Top should be golden with a natural crack.


Step 5: Cool

Let cool 10–15 minutes before removing from pan.
