Servings: 8–10 pieces
Prep Time: 20 minutes
Marination Time: 30 minutes
Cook Time: 15 minutes
Total Time: 1 hour 5 minutes

Ingredients

Main Base

  • 10 chicken lollipops or wings (cut into lollipop shape)

First Marination

  • 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp white vinegar or lemon juice
  • Salt, to taste

Batter & Coating

  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 4 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp cornflour
  • 1½ cups panko breadcrumbs
  • Oil, for deep frying

Instructions

Marinate the Chicken

Wash and pat dry the chicken lollipops.
In a bowl, mix ginger-garlic paste, chili powder, black pepper, soy sauce, vinegar, and salt. Coat the chicken well and marinate for 30 minutes.

Prepare the Batter

In another bowl, combine flour, cornflour, and beaten eggs. Mix until smooth and thick. Add 1–2 tbsp water or milk if needed.

Coat the Chicken

Dip each marinated chicken lollipop into the batter first, then roll generously in panko breadcrumbs. Press lightly so the crumbs stick properly.

Fry Until Crispy

Heat oil on medium flame. Fry the chicken lollipops in batches for 8–10 minutes, turning occasionally until deeply golden, crispy, and cooked through.

Remove onto kitchen paper to drain excess oil.

Serve

Serve hot with chili sauce, garlic mayo, or ketchup 😍🔥

Additional Notes

Secret to Extra Crispiness ✨
Panko breadcrumbs create that restaurant-style crunchy texture.

Frying Tip
Always fry on medium heat so the coating stays golden while the chicken cooks perfectly inside.

Meal Prep & Storage
